Abdul-Nasir Oluwatosin Oluwadoyinsolami Adarabioyo grew up in Whalley Range and attended Chorlton High School and St Bede’s College.
He developed a passion for football from a very young age, starting his football career at the tender age of five when he joined the youth system at Manchester City. He was discovered by the club’s head of recruitment, Terry John, at a local five-a-side tournament.
Tosin is the youngest of three siblings, with his oldest brother, Gbolahan, serving as his representative. His other brother, Fisayo Adarabioyo, is also a footballer who currently plays for Altrincham.
Being kids born in the city of Manchester, Tosin and his brothers all went through the Manchester City academy and also represented them at different points in their lives.
Football Career
Adarabioyo’s talent was recognized early, and he rapidly progressed through Manchester City’s youth ranks. By the age of 14, he was playing for the U18 team and captained the side less than two years later. He also began training with the first team and led the team in the FA Youth Cup final against Chelsea in the 2014-15 season.
He made his senior debut for Manchester City in 2016 and became the then-youngest-ever player to start a UEFA Champions League match for the club. After making eight appearances across all competitions, he proceeded to West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers on loan before joining Fulham on a permanent deal in July 2020.
International Career
Tosin Adarabioyo has represented England at various youth levels, making 14 appearances between the under-16 and under-19 levels. Although he is yet to make his senior debut for England, he remains eligible to represent Nigeria through descent.
